A project partner bi-annual workshop was held at the Heifer Cambodia office in Phnom Penh on August 5 and 6. Eighteen directors from Heifer partner organizations participated with their 10 finance managers and officers. The two-day workshop aimed at reflecting the achievements, the challenges, and the solutions to those challenges during their project implementation. The main topic raised for discussion in the workshop focused mainly on project and financial managements including planning, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation.
In her opening remark, Heifer Cambodia Country Director Keo Keang indicated that the workshop was to strengthen capacity, strength and transparency of the project partners, not only in the Heifer project implementation, but also for potential assistance from other donors. It was also an opportunity to share their experiences and successes and learn new things from each other to improve their work.

During the workshop session, the participants were divided into four small groups for discussion and sharing what they had achieved, the challenges they faced, and solutions they found to the challenges. From the results of the group |

explanation by Heifer Cambodia staff to make them easier
to fulfill.

developed an action plan for improving project and
