Heifer Cambodia supports community development through assist in funding for small-scale integrated livestock and farming, capacity building for partner organizations and the project participants in both organizational and technical areas. In implementing its program, Heifer Cambodia works in partnership with accountable, trustworthy, efficient like-minded and non partisan project partners.

One of its key principles is “passing on the gift” which requires project beneficiaries pass on their livestock’s offspring, skills or other type of resources to other struggling families in the community to promote sustainability.
